NESDIS is exploring moving towards a disaggregated and distributed low-Earth-orbiting (LEO) architecture with the goal of launching sensors and missions in a more agile way in future. As we formulate future infrared sounder satellite missions in LEO, we invite you to participate in a one-day virtual workshop to provide feedback that will help us better understand needs for numerical weather prediction and other applications such as atmospheric chemistry.
